I said at the time that I didn't like us letting Hirst go. I still don't. He's a much better player than Nacho and Daka and he will improve over time as well.

Usually, the players we let go don't really go on to be great anywhere else but he has the chance to be excellent.

Shame his night has finished like this but I think that's good news for us.
