Leicester City manager Ian Holloway is hoping to sign two more players following the capture of Zsolt Laczko.
Holloway expects to complete a loan deal today for Laczko's fellow Hungarian winger Gabor Bori from MTK Budapest, and the City boss is also lining up Aston Villa's Isiah Osbourne on a month's loan.
Twenty-year-old Osbourne will be known to the City fans as he was impressive when Villa won 3-2 in the Carling Cup tie at the Walkers Stadium last season.
The speedy midfielder is set to go straight into the side against Coventry on Saturday along with Laczko and Bori.
Leicester have again been linked with Plymouth's David Norris, with Argyle saying they have turned down bids of £1.2million from City, Southampton and Ipswich for the player.
But the City bid relates to an earlier joint move by former Argyle boss Holloway for Norris and Barry Hayles, who eventually did arrive when the transfer window opened.
And following winger Jonny Hayes' loan to Northampton, there could be more outgoings with Leeds expressing an interest in versatile defender Darren Kenton.
Holloway yesterday unveiled his fourth signing since the opening of the January transfer window, Tottenham's England Under-21 goalkeeper Ben Alnwick, who is expected to make his debut against Coventry on Saturday.
Laczko and Bori were recruited on trial last month and have impressed in the practice matches and training sessions, and they look certain to be integral parts of Holloway's plans from now until the end of the season.
Laczko, 21, who is on loan from Greek side Olympiakos until the end of the season, said: "It is good here and we are very happy to be given this chance.
"I think when we played in the trial we played good, and then for me there were talks with Olympiakos to come here."
Laczko sees differences in English football from what he has experienced and said: "In Greece, the football is more technical but, for English football, we will need to do a lot more training.
"It is everyone's dream to play in the Premier League but, for the moment, we play here."
The presence of Laczko will help Bori - who does not speak English - settle in.
Holloway is delighted that one of his big problems, strength on the wings, has been addressed, albeit with loan signings. In Laczko's case, a fee has been agreed for a summer deal if everything works out.
Holloway said: "This is a world game now and there are a lot of good players all over the world.
"Our scouting network is working flat out at the moment and it is important the fans can see what we are trying to do.
"I want to bring in players they will be excited at seeing and be proud of.
"I have brought in two centre-forwards and they need wingers to give them the crosses.
"It is something we haven't had and, during this transfer window, we will be trying to bring in the right players in the right positions. Having two new wingers will help me."
