Burnley boss Steve Cotterill was the main centre of media attention following Tuesday evening's game with Brighton and Hove Albion, with reporters understandably keen to get his thoughts on the recent approach from Leicester City for his services.
Chairman Barry Kilby turned down that approach immediately earlier in the week and remains in talks with Cotterill.
"We'll just get on with it," admitted the boss.
"I'm big enough and man enough and I'm enjoying myself at Burnley and I'm due to have another chat with the Chairman and we'll have to see where that takes us.
"The Chairman said the conversation he had with Tim Davies of Leicester City lasted about 30 seconds.
"I'm very ambitious and honoured that they (Leicester City) wanted to approach me, but also I enjoy my time at Burnley Football Club and on the contrary to certain reports, I have a great relationship with the Chairman and I don't envisage that changing.
"He's a very, very honest man and I'm enjoying myself here and I don't see any reason why I won't be Burnley manager on Saturday and thereafter.
"That's how it is and I understand that. I've just been very focused on the game with Brighton though and getting a result here.
"I'm professional enough to get on with my job. I've loved every minute I've had at Burnley and I don't see why I won't in the future.
"I don't know what tomorrow brings, but the Burnley fans need to know that I'm happy working at their club and that hasn't changed."
Talks over a new contract for Cotterill have been ongoing since last year, as was disclosed at the club's Annual General Meeting and those discussions remain ongoing.
"We were talking about my contract and we've been talking about that for a little while now," added Cotterill.
"We chatted about that and we chatted about the future and where the club will go and what we do.
"It's been reported that I've had a rift with Barry Kilby this week and it couldn't have been any further from the truth!
"I couldn't have had a rift with him because he never has his phone on!"
