So is it now time?

Even forgetting what has gone on in the previous few seasons, this season has been a complete **** up from day one.

The manager leaves, and we decide to go a completely different direction. Some agreed with it, some didn’t. Obviously every one knows I was happy with the change of direction because I thought we’d end up doing a Southampton. Whether or not people agreed with it, the decision was made and then we had to back him.

But no, he gets booted after 12 matches, despite being ahead of the two other promoted teams, even though they both had a higher net spend and didn’t have the same managerial disruption in the summer.

Fine, decision made, let’s bring in a decent experienced manager. But no, we bring in someone who is inexperienced and achieved nothing so far in his managerial career. And yet again, a completely different style to the previous manager.

I was confident we’d stay up last month. Now I’m convinced we’re doomed.

Let’s talk about recruitment. This summers recruitment was bad. Ultimately we don’t know how much say Cooper had this summer, but if we did gave a brand new manager complete free rein to bring in who he wanted, that’s dumb and on Top and Rudkin’s head. I suspect it was a combination of all of them. But ultimately it’s years and years of incompetent recruitment that is the reason why our squad is so shit right now.

We need to seriously protest to get Rudkin out, and if that doesn’t work, it needs to be directed to Top.
I said to my dad that I thought the last 10/15 minutes today might be toxic towards Rudkin, but I hadn’t factored in the fact that the ground would be practically empty of home fans at that point. I’m not convinced the sight of the stadium being that empty will send as much of a message as vitriol would have done, but, in a way, it was a visual representation of protest at what had just happened. No doubt it will be ignored by the powers that be, but they should look at it and take notice.

Aiyawatt was just handing out toy Filbert Foxes and scarfs this afternoon. He is oblivious to protest because nobody lets him anywhere near it.

On a macro level, Not sure that people/the general populace has any fight left in them generally, to be honest. The fix is so in across the board that people have largely given up.

That said, if there’s any fight left in Leicester fans…the time is here.

Bang. Head. Wall.

It will take a nuclear strike to move the powers at Leicester City FC. Whatever happens on the pitch, in the league, what is said by the fans, Foxes Trust, Bentleys Roof, UFS, NOTHING will change.

Horrible.
