Absolutely right.

I'm not letting RvN off lightly here. It's basic stuff. Speak to people, understand your squad.

It's terrifying to see him so far. He's completely oblivious to what he's walked into.
It’s certainly surprising that no one has told him what’s going on.

Do football managers not have a quick read of forums before taking the job? I think I would.

RvN can't be completely oblivious - wasn't Ward in goal when Man Utd put 5 past us in League Cup only a few weeks back? He saw that performance - same as at 2nd half Newcastle earlier

As a fairly silent member of this forum for around 20 years now i’ve watched us all berate shocking performances, managers, players etc, with quite a fair bit of humour along the way and have enjoyed it regardless of the fortune on the pitch, it's part of being a Leicester fan. However the sheer incompetence from board level down over the last 5-6 years has been absolutely staggering. I actually can’t quite believe how spectacularly we’ve pissed the golden ticket up the wall that was 2016.

Just as a parallel, i've seen the odd comment on here over the past few months referring to Top caring about/putting more attention into King Power Racing than us.

I watch a fair bit of racing and King Power Racing has completely nose dived since Vichai's passing, having previously had several Group 1, 2 and 3 winning horses (the highest standard) competing at the major meetings up until 2018. Since then, they've barely had a sniff at running in let alone winning any group races, and the odd one they have had success with was a horse purchased as a foal when Vichai was at the helm way back when.

I know this is a completely different sport but to me it highlights that yet again, horrific procurement of talent, much like we've had the delight of watching over the last few years with some of the laughable decisions we’ve seen to get players/managers in/out that has led to a total demise in what Vichai had built.

I know Rudkin is massively at fault, the bloke needs shooting and the distain most of us share for both him and Rodgers/Whelan/Ward/(‘insert useless twat here’) is definitely warranted but for me, there is a fairly obvious common denominator.

I'm surprised the Ward situation didn't come up when van Nistlerooy spoke to Maresca, who wouldn't play him when he was manager here. Maybe they only discussed the potential first choice players and Ward was so far down the pecking order that Enzo didn't think he was worth mentioning.

Doubt they even got that far.

You should post more often.

I know one of KP Racing's trainers well enough to have a chat with. His opinion of Rudkin would see him blend in nicely if he joined this forum.

I’m friends with a few former players who know him and thinks he’s a ****. These are academy guys, some who made it and some who didn’t. Personality aside, one said to me that Rudkin doesn’t know enough about football for the level he needs and more than anything what stood out, was that he works for King Power, not really Leicester City.

One of my mates who is former academy, vouches for Top as being a good guy, but clearly lacking in business acumen vs his father. Thats not shocking at all, but at the very least, if you don’t know how to run a football club, you get someone in who does know. But to have lacklustre business acumen generally speaking, makes it even more inappropriate for Top to be running the club. Same with Rudkin.

What we lack, is a football leader.
