I don't see how the 3 can be linked to these players in any way.

No, don't be silly, its because now Nige has gone, MM is back to his old tricks of bringing in players, there is no chance that PS could have wanted these players, no one is as astute in the market as NP, anyone we now buy / linked with is a MM signing!
