It would make sense in terms of our need for a central midfielder to allow us to rest the others, esp Oakley (i think the 3 of them have been excellent personally).

I have only seen him play a couple of times - once excellent, once anonymous.

I wonder how true it is...

How can we loan a player unless he already belongs to us? We can take the player on loan but we can only loan him to another club if he is already our player.

All i know of him is they said he looked out of his depth playing against Sunderland (I think anyway), but I'm obviously willing to give him a chance if he comes here
