why not have a lottery before the game and the 11 winners get remote controls for each player

Better still, give the 11 winners a blue shirt each. Couldn't be much worse, could they?

What we need is a closed loop system.

Each player should be fitted with an electric cattle prod, prefably up their arse, and the fans could select 1 from 11 buttons to shock the player that is not performing.
