After just two week of my system, I am £32.40 up.
I still have ten teams that are yet to draw a match.
The stake on each of these teams is now £8 (week 1 = £2, week 2 = £4, week 3 = £8).

See spreadsheet image below for a full list of progress:

For a system to be worthy of its name, it needs to consistently return a profit. The 'doubling-up on evens bets' system in Roulette would always win if it were not for the table limit.

Your 'system' relies entirely on the luck of when you decide to start it. Could you do your spreadsheet again, showing us how much you would be up of you had started with the first Prem games of the season, please.

Boc, please don't encourage him to make more spreadsheets.

If Jessel had been into spreadsheets rather than polls, we wouldn't have had to make up our minds on all kinds of silly things. Just be thankful that Joe has chosen spreadsheets.

So Duzza and Nottingham Fox have gone quiet - surprise surprise.

No. I was under the impression you were betting on draws in every game?

If so, you would need to make 10 bets a week. Your figures show you made 20 bets ??

Joe's system is to bet on each team until it draws - and to double up the bet each week.

Am I the only one who finds it incredibly amusing that he's up on this? :icon_lol: I know he will end up sinking like a stone, funny if he made a bomb on VCash so he went out to do it with real money and ended up losing it all. :icon_wink

good luck to you joe, although by betting on both teams for the draw you are essentially doubling the odds.
Still, you're up so fair play, you'll need a couple of draws at the week end to reak even.

So you didn't waste money betting on both teams in one game to draw?

Not really, like boc says, my system is to bet on each team to draw and double up if they dont.

Man City's draw the other day was their first in 19 games. Joe_ would have placed over a million pounds in bets on them before finally winning.

£524288 actually. Come on Webbo. Sort the maths out.

eeerrr... £524287, actually.

Hang on. Is your base stake £1 or £2?

With £2 as your base stake, your outlay would have been £1,048,574 You're wrong in either case.

Well 19 bets starting at £2 would be 2^19 (524288) but I forgot to add the actual bets so you need to add 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024,2048,4096,8192,16384,32768,65536,131072,262144 and 524288 so thats a total of 1048574.

Add this to the 524288 and you have a total of £1572862.

Why have you added the 524288 twice?

The total would be 1048574.
