My great uncle once worked for rediffusion (remember those?) and they spent £400k in the 90s on KPMG analysing their logo and deciding….

It would be best to keep it the same.

Four. Hundred. Thousand.
You’ve got to admire the balls to say that.

The amount of money I’ve seen pissed away on literally **** all over the last few years is astonishing. Consulting is the best scam in the world.

When the De Montfort University campus in Bedford became independent and rebranded, they spent hundreds of thousand on a consultancy firm to come up with a new name.

They came up with 'The University of Bedford' and 'Bedford University'

I'm in the wrong ****ing game.

...and they run a Masters course in Marketing....

Never understood the standing thing. I like sitting down and my voice works whether I am sitting or standing.

Feels like a silly diversion.
I'm so with you.
I'm old and lazy and I need a ****ing chair.
I'd have a bed if they'd let me.

Would have been perfect for watching last season's games...

I like standing, probably because it was what I was always used to and it seems like a proper game when I do. Nostalgia taking over probably.

People who prefer sitting, no judgement on your preference but surely it's better for you if the people who want to stand aren't forced to sit in front of you?

I'm old and knackered.
I find most football ground seats so cramped my knees hurt more than they usually do. So I prefer to stand.

It's good to have a choice.
Well that is a good argument so I will let you have that one.

I totally agree.

I'm not really against it but I'm just too excruciatingly lazy to want any part of it!

It's the only chance of a sit down I get most weeks!
