... takes place on Saturday 6th September.
We could get any of the following:
Darlington,
Huddersfield
Leeds
Lincon
Rotherham
Scunthorpe
Chesterfield/Grimsby (winner out of)
Who do we fancy playing? Home or away?
A trip to Darlington might be nice.
Leeds at home, get us knocked out of this godawful competition early
Leeds at home, get em knocked out early
You know what I'm going to say....
Aren't there also the teams who were given a bye?
Is it something to do with cakes ?
We want easy games for as long as possible, and Leeds are one of the better teams in the competition.
If we lose it might knock the players' confidence, and league form could suffer.
Let the better teams knock each other out, I'd be happy not to play a decent team until the final.
To take leeds on now would be a good idea ,it would be a good test on the team IMO.
Can we not play Crewe, Morecambe or Carlisle?
An away match at one of those would suit me because I could get back from on the night without taking the car.
Bury, Carlisle, Chester, Darlo, Huddersfield, Lincoln, Rochdale, RovRum....
Chester please. They are awful.
First and Second round are drawn on a 4-region basis.

Good grief
Just when I thought that this competition couldn't possibly get any more Mickey Mouse, it goes and produces another winner
We can't play Chester in the next round. It will be one of the 7 north/east clubs left in the competition.
