Jon Harley - In ?

In my conversations with Lancashire contacts on the possible Fryatt move, I heard that Martin Allen has been speaking to Burnley about the chance of signing Jon Harley. Burnley have just signed another left back (Stephen Jordan from Man C) and Allen knows Harley. Burnley are considering it apparently.

If I remember right, Chelsea unloaded him because he was a "problem child" and therefore his prospects were very distant. Proved them right by not achieving anything since and hasn't lasted very long wherever he has moved. Not really enthused with the prospect of him moving here.

Don't get this about Mattock being our only choice. Hasn't Sheehan been figuring in pre-season? I think Kisnorbo might be able to play there too.
