Kaebi Moves On
Posted on: Mon 04 Feb 2008

Leicester City have today (Monday) confirmed that Hossein Kaebi has left the club by mutual consent.

The Iranian international joined the Foxes in the summer, but has failed to cement a place in the starting 11.

He made just two starts during his time at the Walkers Stadium.

The player recently represented his country in their 0-0 draw with Costa Rica in Tehran

Allen did a lot of damage with his transfer policies it seems. At least we are getting rid, but I can't help but think of the money and time wasted. Just hope Holloway isn't doing the same thing

IMHO not strong enough for this physical league, got brushed off the ball too easily, although quick and tricky, could'nt cope .....might do well in Spain or Portugal where the physical demands are dealt with strongly by the Referees.

Seems a common defence for Allen does that, yet he appears not to have done the same thing with Megson and Ollie. Makes you wonder
Maybe the others were stronger with MM over the clubs transfer policy. Im pretty sure MM tried to sign Kaebi for Portsmouth too, so i am certain he was a MM effort. I personally believe the rumours that MA only actually signed 4 of the 13 that came in last summer.

Perhaps durung his interview Allen indicated a lack of non UK player knowledge, giving the opportunity for recommendations from others, ir Mackay, Milan etc.

Where as Megson, Ollie said leave it to us

It would appear that MM will now accept defeat on transfers and get back to what he's best at, funding and supporting his manager.... Lessons learned, and another season wasted. Me and Macky are wasted anyways, so it don't matter.

But MM gave an interview before Allen was appointed in which he said he was working on signing several players who "any manager would be pleased to have in his squad".
