I was under the impression that we'd agreed a contract and that the only issue was the expirey of his one at Pompey. Could be wrong though. I do hope we get him.

We will not get automatic promotion by signing players who are "good enough for this league". That is not a criticism of the signing. Sven and presumably Faz have worked with him and presumably feel he has not only got the talent but passed "the attitude test".
I always feel there are two kinds of goalkeeper the calming influence such as David Seaman and the rollicker such as Peter Schmeichel. I have a feeling that Kasper is a rollicker.Can anyone confirm this because my impression may be influenced by memories of his father. If so it fits in with Sven wanting to change us from being a quiet team.
