Re: Kenton to Leeds?

Totally agree. Either him or Kish or N'Gotty, but Ollie thinks they're all midfielders. :102:

Kishishev is primarily a midfielder, but has played centre back

Think N'Gotty played midfield for AC Milan and PSG before he converted to a centre half

Re: Kenton to Leeds?

Remind me how good they are again?

They aren't bad actually Alex.Only lost one qualifying match and failed to qualify for Euro2008 by 1 point.

Re: Kenton to Leeds?

You're right Homey, Kish is mainly a midfielder but can play in the backline if needed. Chambers would be my choice for right back. N'Gotty similarly could do a job at right or centre back. But we need a no nonsense left back IMO.

Re: Kenton to Leeds?

Kish at RB?

I know he has played in defense, but not sure of position.

At the end of the day we have far too many players that can (allegedly) play a number of positions, jack of all trades master of non.

The sooner we have players that ply their trade in one position the better IMO with the better 'jacks' left for cover.

Re: Kenton to Leeds?

Apparently it was Alan Curbishley at Charlton who moved Kish to the midfield. Before that he was a defender. There were "concerns" about his lapses in concentration in defence it seems.

Leicester City defender Darren Kenton has today (Thursday) joined Leeds United for a one-month loan period.

The 29-year-old becomes the second City player to leave the Foxes on a temporary deal this week - with Jonny Hayes joining Northampton Town earlier in the week.

Leicester boss Ian Holloway has so far recruited five new players during the January window - Ben Alnick, Steve Howard, Barry Hayles, Zsolt Laczko and Gabor Bori.

Kenton has made six starts for the Foxes this season - his last coming in the 2-0 defeat at the hands of Southampton last weekend.

He has taken on a host of roles on the pitch since joining the club in June 2006 - including centre-half, centre-midfield and right-back.

His loan move will run until February 12 2008.

All of which he is inept at

Re: Kenton to Leeds?

All of which he is inept at

He's also been utterly incompetent at right wing, left wing and left back

All equally shite performances. How he has been continually selected is completely beyond me

Hope he stays for longer than a month

Re: Kenton to Leeds?

I actually don't mind Kenton as squad player.

I know its a crazy thing to say on this forum but I actually like Stearman to. Although some of his performances have been shocking. He's definitely improved over the last month.

Let the slating begin!

No slating from me - I agree with you :038:
