Totally agree. The only possible reason for bringing him straight in when we did was to try to get a fee for him in January. I can understand this, but I don't agree with it.
Kisnorbo is yesterdays news. Let him go in January for whatever we get get (which won't be much - max £250k) or on a free at the end of the season.
He has been nothing to do with us being top of the league after 15 games, and I hope he's nothing to do with our ultimate fate this season (ditto Clemence if he resurfaces).
NP has shown himself to be happy with a settled team. I was very surprised when Mattock and Kisnorbo suddenly reappeared from nowhere at the expense of people who were doing a perfectly good job. Pure speculation, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a certain owners dirty fingers all over that decision.
