HEARTS star Patrick Kisnorbo will be out of action for around four weeks after it was revealed today he needs an operation on his injured knee.
The Australian internationalist has been sidelined since picking up a knock during the Jambos’ 0-0 Scottish Cup draw with Partick Thistle earlier this month.
The utility man, who has signed a pre-contract to team-up with former boss Craig Levein at Leicester City in the summer, underwent a scan on Wednesday which revealed the problem.
"Paddy needs a minor operation after a scan on his knee showed a cartilage problem," said manager John Robertson.
"He’ll go in for the operation next week and we would expect him to miss around a month.
"It’s a blow for everyone, not least Paddy, as he has had a really bad run recently.
"He has had both domestic and European suspensions and now that he is clear of those he picks up an injury which will keep him out for longer. It’s disappointing."
