I would like to buy a new lapt

It needs to be as portable as possible so I'm looking for something with a 12" screen.

I also want an intergrated DVD drive as well.

Want it for web browsing and DVD playing mainly

What do you recommend - not looking to spend a fortune of course

You could do worse than an Acer 2930 (about £400 from PC World).

Sometimes, if you are using it on the move to watch DVDs, it can be better to rip the DVD on to the hard drive and run it from there ... uses less battery power.
