If budget is no issue the 2 best places to eat around town are Ashfields in Earl Shilton and Barnacles just opposite the Hinckley Island Hotel. Both superb, barnacles is probably slightly dearer but the food is about on a par with Ashfields. I would recommend both very highly. Barnacles has a reputation as a fish restaruant which it kind of is but they do a full menu of non fish dishes too.

Just seen your mention of Sunday lunch, if you go for that then Ashfields out of the 2 no question. Theres also the Pochers Bistro in Thurlsaton but its a poor 3rd behind the 2 mentioned.
