Have you tried Bistro before? I didn't rate it at all, but it was for a works Christmas do which would explain the service issues

The service when busy is always crap. They are decent value for money if you catch the right time. Went a week before Xmas on a Wednesday night - the place had about 15 people in but I suppose that's what you should expect off a restuarant. Mum and Dad went 2 months later on Saturday night and there was massive balls up on the tables.

Has anyone eaten at Maiyango, if so opinions please.

Bit late for you but I like this place. Very good food, service, atmosphere, cocktails and wine list. If you used to like the Case a few years ago before it went a bit crap, then Maiyango is where to relocate to.

Good idea to book early and request a booth. It's pricey but if you want to feel like you've had a good night and a touch of quality, this is the best place currently in the City in my opinion. It's in a scuttery area but deserves a try.

For me, it's also extremely convenient for the casino round the corner afterwards too!
