I disagree with the statement about the Academy that we are "not on the scale of Aston Villa". We have a far better set up than Villa, in fact we are recognised in our own right as one of the top Academy's in the country regularly out perfroming our so called more illustrious counterparts. A visit to the training ground when we play Villa and the others at all the age groups will demonstrate our credibility alonside the Premiership big boys. Take a look at the England schoolboys/youth set-up and you will see a scattering of LCFC players in all age groups which augurs well for the future of our club.

To be fair DD, Tommy Wright will be playing Championship football with Barnsley next season whatever City fans might think of him. Furthermore Levi Porter is still very well thought of at the club and could feature this season.

Porter will feature this year and what about the talented Joey Mattock & Ashley Chambers. They are very highly regarded by the very best Premiership clubs.

I think it was deleted at the height of the deleting frenzy. I am sure of two things. One the post was not offensive maybe just a tad OT and secondly such poster/mod behaviour would not occur now after the free and frank discussion we have all had on the topic.
