Another series of responses from Andrew Taylor to Trust members questions

Attracting More Fans?
The Andrew Taylor responses are sensible. I guess that he would also realise that the reason that the only modest upturn in attendences following the upturn of results at the end of the season were:
1. It was too late for the club to mount a play offs challenge;
2. There was not even the 'excitement' of a battle to avoid relegation;
3. Matchday ticket prices are prohibitive - except when the club is in the prem or charging towards promotion.
On the subject of the lack of interest by minority ethnic people, I would suggest:
1. Some residual fear/ insecurity asssociated with the link between soccer and rascist behaviour.
2. The fact that there is no great pattern of the communities supporting Leicester City - as a 'family tradition' - which is how some (non- minority ethnic people) first got involved.
3. The access to Sky and stay at home 'glamour' team fixtures.
Overall, I sense that Andrew Taylor is rightly cautious about the prospects at the 'gates'. I think he needs to be because I can't see much of an improvement given the understandable limitations of the squad.
