Thanks for attempting to clarify a few points.

My issue with posting as the FT on forums by '?' is that most of it seems to be linked to the FAB and their priorities rather than the FT itself. Given that the former chair of the FT was about to be hounded out and managed to get himself a job on the FAB before quitting as chair of the FT would mean I'd be concerned if that is who is posting as the FT. Their credibility is completely gone.

I appreciate that the FT needs to get through the January AGM and sort out their structure. However, being associated with this sort of output from the FAB Working Groups is going to do you no good when you need to rebuild a reputation with most supporters. You cannot be promoting things like default digital ticketing when most fans have shown they don't want it.

I know the PL plans for digital ticketing but, as I understood it, the plan is to grow it, not make it the default option. Yet again this season, there have been multiple issues with digital tickets even though the club have positioned more people at turnstiles to try to alleviate some of them, And many people just don't want to use them or cannot use them.
The reason we are posting sharing minutes of both the FAB & the FCC WG meetings is because the club are posting them on their website, where fans would need to hunt them down, there is no main website article promoting that they are now available, we don't think this is the level of transparency required, so we will make sure via our website, social media and message boards that fans are aware the minutes are available to read, which then gives any fan the chance to feed back to the FAB via the published e-mail address or tell the Trust if they feel the FAB are not responding.

The problem with digital ticketing is that many clubs are already fully digital. Our understanding is the Premier League do want digital as the default option for the 26/27 season, the main battle will become over the "permitted" exceptions.
 
So when they do the minutes, the group there for that meeting wasn’t present at the meeting before and doesn’t actually know what was discussed?
At the end of the 3 working group sessions, the chair of each group provides a summary to the entire FCC members of the discussions in their individual groups. The minutes are subsequently issued, which will be used as the basis for the next meeting.

The FCC members will be able to raise agenda items for the next meeting, which of course includes any of the fan group representatives and the Trust has the track record of raising the most agenda items under the previous FCC format.
 
That's one of the most stupid things I've ever heard.

So the only continuity is the club?

The chair of each sub group remains the same, all other fans rotate.

The logic is that all FCC members will get the chance to contribute to all topics over a season and more ground is covered than having one large meeting. We do have reservations, but will give the first year of this format a trial and then feedback

I chair the meetings of a legal 500 law firm every month. The minutes is the most important part. That’s where the accountability takes place. If you weren’t at the meeting before, it doesn’t matter what notes you have. You weren’t in the room. You missed the discussion. Come on fellas.

Spot on. I have also chaired hundreds of meetings. The only reason to do it this way is to ensure that nothing of any real consequence happens.
 
I would very much like for the club to be asked why they persist with the current senior management structure.

Specifically, when do they plan to make it fit for purpose, and at what stage will the ownership hold to account the personalities responsible for wasting enormous resources, crippling us financially and placing our long term future in jeopardy. Ask them that.

Promises were made when we were relegated that we would ‘learn from mistakes’, but here we are in 2024/25 repeating the exact same mistakes. We spent 82m in the summer but we are inexplicably worse for doing so. We are in fact worse than the team that started our championship winning campaign. Why? Ask them that.

What is the clubs ownership planning to do to change the structure? Is their plan to continue to allow people like John Rudkin to have their prints all over everything, and do it all very badly, or can we have a proper team of experienced professions, and a model closer to that of Brighton and others who through careful and conscientious decision making, punch well above their weight. Ask them that.

If they plan to just continue as things are will they give proper consideration to the question of whether they are the right people to take this club forward, and whether their stewardship should come to an end. Ask them that.

Making a mistake can be forgiven. Repeating the same mistakes, the same very grave mistakes, cannot. Tell them that.
 
No amount of free beer or token fan engagement will fix the very real issues with this club. It’s a business, but it isn’t being run like one. Stop letting them divert your attention with ‘safe standing’ or other pointless appeasement initiatives.
 
No. They wouldn't want to spoil their cushy relationship with the club and tackle them on the difficult (important) topics.

They clearly don’t like being told that things aren’t being done well. I run a reasonable sized business and sometimes you have to open your mind and allow others to express honest opinions, especially when things aren’t going right. If you can’t do that, you’re never going to learn and it will end badly. Politicians are often like this, just surrounding themselves with “yes men”.
