Some are thinking it might be on the Wednesday because Carlisle's 1st round tie was on the Wednesday. The reason for that is that Blackburn played on Sunday - Carlisle don't normally play their games on a Wednesday night AFAIK

That is correct. The only reason it won't be on the Tuesday is if either team play on the Sunday (which won't happen), or if it's moved for Sky, which also won't happen.

They normally play on Saturdays, Tuesdays if it's midweek.

Bus, last one leaves about 11pm I think...

Last time I went through to Carlisle I let my mate run to the station to check the last train time, he came running back saying it was about 11pm so we had time for a couple more pints. On getting to the station we discovered that the stupid ****er had been looking at the arrivals board and not departures, ended up getting a hotel room and a night out costing a feckin fortune.

There is a bus on that route that leaves at 23:07, but it only goes as far as Brampton.
