For others thinking about going to Carlisle by public transport, these are the last trains/buses from Carlisle:

Some of these will only be of interest to Blue Maniac.

The last southbound train of the day is 21:26, so no good unless you leave the match with half an hour to go - and the train only goes as far as Crewe.
There is a sleeper train at 01:40, but that only stops at Watford and London Euston. It gets to London at 06:47.

There's a National Express coach that leaves at 00:30 that calls at Heathrow Airport and London Victoria coach station.
A National Express coach to London that leaves at 00:45, calling at Manchester, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.
A National Express coach to Plymouth at 00:50 which calls at Lancaster, Preston, Manchester, Stoke, Birmingham, Bristol, Taunton, Exeter.
You can get a coach from http://megabus.com/ which leaves Carlisle at 01:45 and stops at Lancaster, Preston, Bolton, Manchester and London.

There's a train to Dumfries at 23:10
Trains to Glasgow leave at 21:51, 22:03 and 22:51

And, this one must surely be favourite for BM..
A National Express coach at 03:40 to Belfast.

With those possible connections it's definitely going to be a sell out, what an easy place to get to and from :icon_lol:

£17 quid seems steep.

I'm now able to go to this one, but having had a look on the OS ticket section I assume you'll be able to buy on the day? If not I don't really trust the postie to deliver tickets bought on Friday on time for the game.

Can you not buy in advance and collect from the ground?
