League goals from open play

Personally, I think it's simple.

Shit midfielders that can't pass.

Shit forwards that can't score

Shit Managers who can't get them to play.

It's a combination of those three problems. We keep replacing them, but you don't replace a broken kettle with another broken kettle, you go and buy one that works.

The sad thing is, you don't have to be that good to beat the defenses in this league. if you try enough times, eventually someone will make a mistake and let you in. We don't try to attack nearly enough.

I think we have done well to score what we have from open play considering we have no midfield at the moment.
When fit Weso & Clemence are ok but do not have a chance to go forward as the set up has been so defensive.
Newton at his best could do a job but unfortunately for us he's past his best.
Chambers is no midfielder and creates problems because he struggles to find a blue shirt unless he goes backwards, his defensive play isn't much better.
Levi is a luxury at the moment as he's not strong enough yet in a physical league like this and therefore loses confidence in beating people & flying down the wing.
Need at least one creative midfielder urgently without a doubt but who is available and willing to come here.
