Leicester City midfielder Lee Cox has today joined Yeovil Town for a one-month loan period.

Cox, who has come through the Academy ranks at the Walkers Stadium, has been a regular for Gerry Taggart's reserve side this season.

The youngster will now be hoping to secure a place in the Glovers squad to face Southend United at Roots Hall on Saturday.

But sadly not original. I distinctly remember the Newcastle fans chanting it in the early 80s before the board finally agreed with them and brought Jackie Charlton in to replace Arthur Cox in their manager's chair.

I am also reminded that somewhere on my bookshelves I have a copy of a book called "Dicks Out". It's a guide to British football songs, club-by-club - the title being the words that came to the lips of the Fulham fans whilst their manager, Alan Dicks, led them to FA Cup defeat at the hands of non-league Hayes about 20 years ago.
