Maybe this is a bit unfair, I'm not sure wat you lot think.

I've been doing a bit of research into our friend Lee Mason and it seems he's been consistently bad at refereeing ever since qualifying.

Click here to see his ratings

I urge you all to 'rate the ref' by clicking here. You'll have to register. Rate the ref by finding the fixture and clicking the

image.

Feel free to be honest. i.e. 1 out of 5

Also, have a look at this for a complete load of utter bollocks Someone has the nerve to say that the second penalty "was a very deliberate handball." What a misguided fool.

That comment was probably put on their by Neil Warnock!

I wouldn't be surprised - what a knob jockey.

Hmmm, interesting read that. MAKE SOME NOISE!

"Absolutely dire performance, although he did set up the City goal very well. Shame he felt the need to atone for his actions. I really wish that refs had the same comeuppance as teams do, with their livelihoods at stake for performing inconsistantly throughout the season, and the threat of relegation.

I take my hat off to you Mr Mason, you truly are one of a kind."

"The article in this month’s issue quotes Andy Lane from Sports Psychology at Wolverhampton University who states “A number of factors can impact on a referee’s decision making, but a key element is a large and vociferous home crowd. Intimidated by noise, which is irrelevant information he doesn’t need, he experiences increased anxiety”. The article then further explains “and this causes him to make mistakes that unintentionally favour the home side” (don’t have to think back very far do we - Sheff Utd penalty no.2!)"

Shame it was the only noise the home fans made all afternoon.

anyone else wonder why it isn't very often the away fans are in the bottom tier?

why can't they sell the bottom tier first and the upper tier afterwards....of course we might've got a penalty decision our way if we were at pitch level, cos we were loud enough as it was.

oh i rated him as well.....i thought i was overgenerous giving him '2' for fairness...
