in an ideal world a team has 2 good players for every position, this makes me worried of the recent sales.

I'm pretty sure Sven won't let Berner go until after the cup match.

But if he does leave befor the cup game then fair play to him and thanks for all he's done.
Having said that I'd like him to stay as he would be sadly missed!!!!!!

Agreed. I'm not too keen on players like Morrison and possibly Berner leaving as at the minute only one player in our back four will be the same for the Man City game. I hope Naughton signs permanently before Sunday.

Are sha la la Bamba and Mee good enough replacements and able to slot in to our defence? Who knows...

Wouldn't expect Mee to be able to play against his own club.

I would say a Premiership club would need two decent players in each position.

Championship and lower it's more likely there are players within the club who are flexible and can play in more than one position.

Alternatively, there is Leicester City who have had an abundance of shite right-backs...

My wife would like to point out that ability and experience are more important than simply bouncing and puffing about like an enthusiastic puppy.

She likes to point it out often.

Kennedy back at city not clear if we wanted him or Rochdale didn't
Defender Tom Kennedy has returned from his loan spell at Spotland to his parent club Leicester City on Monday
The club would like to place on record its thanks to Tom Kennedy for his efforts while back at Spotland and wish him all the very best of luck for the future.

He only played 6 games in 3 months. I know there was snow disruption in the lower leagues, not sure if he was injured as well, but not many games for the length of the loan

Rochdale only played eight games during the period of his loan. I don't know why he missed the other two.
