You're right to an extent. I've not enjoyed this season and that's a bit worrying really. Win the league and feel nothing much. It might be an idea to take a few months off from here. I've done it before and it's probably for the best.

I loved Preston on Monday though. It just felt like a proper players/fans evening. Today was nowhere near that. It was a state manufactured load of old shite. Except where we roundly booed Rick 'the prick' Parry.

Today was a non-event as the main event was at PNE.

The game always had the potential to be a damp squib as I’m sure some of the players have overdone the celebrations.

Try to enjoy the achievement and forget about next season until they come back to pre season training.

It’s a wonderful achievement, just take that bit.

I don’t know how we did it, but we finished 7 points clear of the best team in the division, and 10 points clear of the team that was gonna win the league just a few weeks ago.

Promotion under Adams will stay in my thoughts whenever we're in a similar situation. Last game against Norwich and it was the dullest, most pointless game and atmosphere. It's great to have things wrapped up before the final day but then the final day is meh.

As for the rest of it, who cares? We win the league, Leeds collapse into the Playoffs and Birmingham get relegated. Lovely stuff.

Just needs Norwich to win the playoffs & it's a perfect storm.
