What the actual blue blazing **** was that second half?
Seriously, what the ****ing hell was going on?
We were better than them in the first 45, but Vardy shat the bed, and we then petered out towards the end
But after that, it was simply ****ing unacceptable. We sat back and let them dominate everything. There was a point at which our 'press' was El Khannous closing down the whole Palace back line all on his own, running from side to side. **** knows where our actual number 9 was - having a fag and a red bull on the side or summat. Mavididi was on a deck chair somewhere.
We had to do something and, bizarre though they were, the substitutions really kicked us into action but we ****ed up the final ball a day pretty much every position by overplaying. Painful.
Now I think Mcateer is shit, but he was getting into some dangerous positions and put a couple of good balls in. It all looked promising. It was, until the second set of subs ****ed everything up and we stuck him at right back, or right wing back, or some mental brain fart idea. **** knows. It was a shit idea and it killed us off nicely
The whole back line and two pivot midfielders were shit. Woefully, tragically, hideously ****ing shit. And their Lord and Master and King Shit himself was ****ing Vestergard. An absolute filthfest of a performance the likes of which we haven't seen for some time. Coady and Faes were perfectly fine last weekend so why the **** you would bring that hopeless **** back onto the team is beyond me.
This back line took us down last time, and here we are watching them take us down again. Who would possibly have thought it?
We haven't got enough money to replace them all, but that's exactly what we need to do. They're ****ing hopeless
