Two bob and a conker. Walker was a shadow of the man who played for Spurs. Thatcher was past his mediocre best. Izzet had a couple of decent years left but was never a top tier player in any case. Ferdinand’s best days were long gone, Dickov’s too. Gillespie was nothing special. Elliott still had value but was ready to be replaced. The rest were never any good in the first place. I know it seems odd to say after tonight but I doubt a single name on that team sheet would get anywhere near our 2018 lineup.

He’d be closest, for sure. I love Muzzy, and this may be controversial, but over the years I reckon King has been a more useful player for us. Not as creative but has done a more important job I think.

I still can’t get my head around just how dull we are, especially at home. It gets said a lot but it’s just so boring, regardless of the opposition or the competition. It’s getting harder to understand the logic behind the reason for it when the quality of performances gets worse every week. It’s meant to be fun! Does anyone enjoy the football?

Soyuncu easily man of the match. He was superb. Probably the best player at the club at the moment.

On the other hand, Vardy was awful. He has caught Nachos natural inability to control the ball.

As for Okazaki, I will be shocked if he ever scores again. For anyone.

I genuinely think thay if we played both those teams together against Man City reserves, they'd still beat us comfortably.

What did I bother going for? I must be mad.

Soyuncu and Ward were the only two to come away with positives.

Silva is a horror of a waste of money. My patience with Gray and Iheanacho is almost completely gone. Oh, and Okazaki is fecking dreadful nowadays. A shadow of his former self.

I’m having a season off from going every week, for various reasons but I’m sure it will irk some to know that the football they were serving up at the end of last season didn’t make it a tougher decision. My ST seat next to my dad now get rotated between his friends and my sisters. Think the old boy will be getting a cold right leg over the Christmas period though.
