My alarm clock didn't go off. Slightly relieved to be honest. Sounds a tad on the boring side.

Stayed at home, sat in the sun for a bit until the neighbour starting getting on my tits. Went back out and brushed the dog, she did a shit, I went to get a poo bag and she’d rolled in it. Did my best to wash it off with a watering can (no outside tap) and a cloth. A five minute bit of good pet ownership turned into a rather disgusting and unpleasant half hour.

Still think I made the right decision.

Absolute shit

Complete and utter pure unadulterated shit

Possibly the dullest game the footballing world has ever seen

The man is a total clown . For the love of all that is sweet and pure and good, get him the feck out of here FFS

I had a wonderful evening watching My Fair Lady at The Little Theatre. I lent my season ticket to a friend. I wonder if he had a wonderful evening at the King Power.

Joe, don't believe everything you read. ( you can believe this though ;))
Morgan and Simpson benched. Good news.
We played at a quicker tempo, but 2 playets let us down. Mahrez and Vardy.
For me, take the money for Mahrez, say thank you for what you helped our great club achieve, now there's the door.
He is tarnishing his reputation.

Just looked at our home results since January.
Haven't won at home in the league since the Mahrez debacle.
Must be Puels fault!!!!

How Mahrez stayed on I don’t know playing like that he’s a liability, he has far too many games like that and it’s why no one wants you Riyad
Man City did.

It’s almost as farcical as Puel’s tactics to single out Mahrez right now. If he or Vardy don’t produce some magic we will never score a goal. They are both far too good to continue to be ground in to mediocrity by our clown of a manager. For our sake I hope he stays and a new manager is able to produce a team that gets the best from a truly gifted footballer. If Puel stays, for the sake of Mahrez I wouldn’t be sad to see him leave and has his career flourish as it deserves to.

Vardy didn’t let us down. He did his best with the endless punted long balls vaguely aimed in his direction.

Has anyone else selected the team and the tactics for any of those games?

Forgive me for butting in on all the hatred but I thought that was a decent performance tonight.

3 shots on target against one of the leagues whipping boys? Really?

I thought it was a better performance. Southampton sat back and made it difficult. I am disappointed as I saw us getting a winner but we just couldn’t find the cutting edge.

I didn’t think anyone was particularly bad we just didn’click, lack of final ball and their crowded defence.

I hope they does this to Chelsea but with more success at the weekend.

The Puel out movement is definitely growing. Although there is a definate split with fans. Im still Creosote on this and unsure which direction is best for my club. I dont think we played badly we just lacked imagination in the final third. Certain players didn' perform . Southampton didn't press . Waiting to fall off the fence.

Vardy didn’t let us down. He did his best with the endless punted long balls vaguely aimed in his direction.

I watched him closely and it's not as simple as this.

Too many times when we had the ball looking for an outlet he just stood next to his marker in the center, no movement and no intention.

He had a few moments where he made a run and subsequently a ball was played, often a good ball actually.

There were times where we came down the left and a slight effort to run out wide would have resulted in him being in behind, he doesn't like doing this anymore.

Finally the chance where instead of doing a Jamie Vardy and hitting g it first time with instinct he decided to try and be more Harry Kane and take an unnecessary touch inside which scuppered the chance.

Stop trying to be Mr England striker Jamie, you are better when you are Jamie Vardy

Apart from the absolute dullard drivel this twot is serving up, what the screaming blue feck were those subs all about ??

Two young lads coming on fine, but he sodding well waited til feckin injury time to do it. Two whole feckin minutes they got

Completely and utterly pointless

This man is a total twat

Bringing on subs that late just to run the clock down for a 0-0 draw at home against a shit side tells you all you need to know about our ambition.

I think there is a method to the transition under Puel. Both wingers are tucking inside to try & link up with Ihenacho and Vardy - there were some good moves last night in the final third with more clinical decision making could've lead to a goal. What is expected is the fullbacks to overlap and use the space the wingers are vacating to get in crosses etc - Chilwell did this only a couple of times and delivery was poor; Albrighton played well but his most telling passes were from deep and over the top - you can see why Puel is after at least 1 new right back and a Fuchs replacement. What is patently obvious is some players are not up to this new system (Simpson for one). I think it's a big summer transfer window - who comes in to make this system and style work is probably more important than those who leave.

There were some positives - Dragovic was excellent and his passing and defending looks a step up on Morgan; Maguire had a solid game whilst Ndidi showed why he's crucial to the way we play. Vardy led from the front well and should've scored twice, Ihenacho looked sharp in his control and passing - he was also a little unlucky not to score; Hamer looked solid and made the one save he had to.

I am prepared to give Puel time - Matt Elliott on RL summed it up well in that the players have dropped off following the Cup QF defeat and all of them have one eye on next season/World Cup. Puel's an intelligent bloke, a manager with a good record - his style is a lot different to the counter attacking under Claudio but the most successful teams starve the opposition of the ball and it eventually will win more matches than you lose.

Finally on a completely seperate point - Southampton, in need of 3pts and with Leicester having nothing to play for, showed such limited ambition they deserve to go down - where was the gamble of 2 strikers with 30mins to go? Puel still looks a better bet than Mark Hughes.
