Thank goodness that awful, awful season is over!

and a win would have been 9th. Crap league. Crap season.

Was kind of glad our season was finishing, but now already sad the season is over!

Goodbye gold Premier League champions badges. Goodbye to our Champions League season. Goodbye to Claudio. And I suspect, goodbye to Shakey and some of our players too. :(

Yep. Thank feck that's over. Looking forward to the pre-season and a fresh start for next. Disappointing that we failed to kick on and try and build from last season but it could have been worse, at least we rescued our top league status from an almost certain relegation and a pretty respectable finish to the season. Credit to Shakespeare for turning things and around and seeing us through that.

Champions League journey was absolutely magic.

Got to go to Copenhagen away and Madrid at home. I'll never forget either.

Shit season in some ways but incredible in others.

Managerial change required.

Exciting changes a head, because we sure as **** can't continue the way we are now.

Can't wait for the new season.

It's gonna be interesting. Gonna be interesting seeing the annual predictions from posters on here.

Anything could happen in the next six moths.....

The performance of Slimani was such a confusing one. During the first half, I was pretty convinced I'd judged him correctly all along; completely useless with a terrible touch, no eye for a pass and no skill with the ball at his feet whatsoever - he was dire. Then, the second half begins and a completely different Slimani arrived on the pitch. Holding up play smartly, doing the simple things really well, winning the ball, bossing defenders.... 'Great!' I thought. I really was seeing something akin to a good striker. Then...... That chance! How easy does he want it?

So, I'm a little stuck as to what to think of him right now! I think I'd better just wait to see what next season brings (unless we get a massive offer from China for him in which case I'd be happy for him to seek pastures new).

I reckon he will score a lot of goals if he's played regularly.

Though I agree entirely that he's a frustrating player at times.

You're probably right. It's so frustrating to see flashes of good stuff among the dross though. Maybe it is that regularity that he needs.

Superb attacker who hasn't had a run. He was clearly off the pace and not knowing where Vardy was going. Second half he linked well with Mahrez and started to play his own game.

Got the assist - should have had 2 and if he was at all in the flow then he'd have scored 2 as well.

Shakey messed up badly playing okazaki instead of him.

Game was a mirror of our season.

Yeah. there for the taking but we didn't.

1 more goal and we climb 5 places.

Benny and Simpson were abominable.

Amartey looked good when he came on. Chilwell or Vardy motm. Chilwell, Ndidi and Amartey looked a nice young core for next season.

Shakey cost us the game with yet another poor team selection. He must have seen his slim chance of a prem manager position (with us) slipping away in that first half.

He certainly makes things happen, I love the way he pulls away at the far post. So unlike anything we've had, probably since Brian Deane.

Another rubbish game. The total lack of quality emphasised by the fact that King was our best player.

Shape wrong. Intensity wrong. Stupid selections again. Poor changes too. And all this against a Bournemouth side there for the taking.

Also, worrying to see the major fallout in the first half between Albrighton and Slimani. They were having a right go at each other. It really isn't a harmonious camp and it needs a massive shake up.

Anyone that wants out should be allowed to go. Several of the new signings last summer need ditching too. Spend big on proven players please.

Shakey said he had words with Slim at half time, hence the better performance.

He also said he'd watched a reply of the disallowed goal and it was definitely onside !!
