You understand that no one really is, don't you? That it is a sarcastic response to some dopes who think that this is a genuine reason for anyone questioning his appointment?

I mean, I could have just whooshed you but....
Just for the record, my comments have not been sarcastic.

Even if he won us the Champions League I'd still want him gone as I just can't knock one out over him, however hard I've tried.

I doubt how would agree to lie under you either.

Prior to the downpour on Saturday, we were treated to a extravaganza of fire and smoke.

We've become accustomed to the fire thing. Some chap presses a button and bits of fire shoot up in front of the East Stand. On a big night game, I can kinda see the point. On a damp Saturday afternoon, it's puzzling.

The new thing this year is two smoke producing contraptions either side of the tunnel. For almost five seconds, there is a puff of something that evaporates into the air.

Is this an attempt to give the old gits in the West Stand emphasemia? Or to disguise the appearance of our new manager? Who can say.

I do wonder how much we spend on this sillyness and whether anybody finds it a positive contribution to the atmosphere.

You need to start wondering about more interesting things.

It’s bloody stupid.
