Fair play to Amartey who defended well. He's not the answer but he did a job.

Soyuncu, Ndidi and Barnes were our best players. Despite missing five players due to injury, we were able to make five changes and not suffer. Our squad is improving with more to be added (surely).

I can't say I'm all that bothered about winning it. However anything anyone does this season to piss on Pep is a bonus.

Up THE City.
I think you can add Bertrand and Tielemans to the best players list. Bertrand is clearly a very experienced and accomplished player.

Great stuff. Another medal for the lads and great big match experience again. We were by far the better side first half. Second half had to weather the storm but defended well which was particularly great considering our situation with so many defenders out injured at the minute.

Ndidi was probably man of the match today . Soyuncu a close second.

Well done City. Well deserved. Limited Man city to half chances really. (Mahrez one on one the only really good chance)

Armerty did well. Don't rate him at all. But he did a job. Not good enough on the ball for an extended period in the side. But at least a back up option.

Bertrand had a good first half but tired a lot in the second. I thought Tielemans was poor, well off his usual standard.

Vardy and Perez were fecking awful.

Yes agree with that regarding Bertrand. He was knackered.

We’ve got a very good squad here, very good indeed

We simply have to sign a centre back, however

And stop playing the hopeless **** Perez, obviously

How should Daka have scored? He couldn't have done anymore or anything different.

Well deserved win. Yes it's probably the least important competitive game we will play this season but it's good to keep a winning mentality.

Amartey deserves a mention, he did very well. not playing against a centre forward might sound easy but you have to be alert to runs from anywhere, and he did everything he was asked very well. I'm not saying we don't need to sign anyone, but he looked like being the weakest link in the line-up and deserves credit.

Bertrand looks good, he already seems to work well with Barnes which bodes well.

Ndidi and Tielemans were class, bossed the midfield and protected the defence excellently

Madison looked lively, I think this will be a big season for him - this time last year he was rated higher than Grealish so he will be looking to step it up if he can avoid injuries.

Soumare is a beast, very strong, and holds the ball well. looking forward to seeing more of him.

I see Pep is complaining about UEFA, FA, FIFA, etc. after the game. Blah, blah.

His squad today cost £580m. And he still has Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, De Bruyne, Foden, Sterling and Jesus to come in. And he says he wants to sign Kane for £130m.

Leicester's squad cost approx £220m.

It's about time he started getting called out on this shit.

He is such a knob. At least that is one thing they won’t buy this year.
