Showed on BT after the game how Chilwell was shouting for help at the back post which was roundly ignored.

If we'd had NDidi today we would have won today.
he does normally line up near Chilwell in those situations, so that's a good point

I'm surprised that nobody has pointed out the obvious error made by Rodgers today. The key decision that cost us both goals.

Ndidi was supposed to start. It was clear that he had been assigned with marking Rudiger at set pieces. That must be why the late swap meant that Choudhury (a fairly poor player in the air) ended up marking their most obvious threat every time.

It was bewildering in the first half. It was appalling management to not change it second half. And that decision resulted in both goals. Are we really so weak that one change before a game results in us having no idea how to deal with crosses?

Overall, it was an open and leggy game. Two sides that looked knackered and error prone. It was the best I've seen Perez and Chilwell was superb. Maddison was by far our least effective player and it was another weird decision to persist with him. His set piece delivery recently has been nothing short of abysmal. Once again, it appears as though our manager has a 'Plan A' and nothing else.

Really ?

Well I thought he was excellent for the full eighty minutes when Vardy was on the pitch, and no real significant difference happened when the change was made
Not specifically today but in general he seems to play better with Iheanacho

Some positives in the performance, some criticisms. I felt we were the better team and most likely to win. Not a bad result all things considered.

Well definitely not today, and certainly not last week when he played the whole game against Brentford with Nacho and was complete pony

Yeah I was chuffed to **** when they equalised. Really genuinely pleased. Football was the winner today.

****ing hell.
If you feel like the rest of us, who was your miserable sods comment aimed at?

Hamza switched off at the throw in for their first. He also didn't do enough to prevent rudiger for the second. Blaming chilwell is ridiculous.
Rodgers clearly annoyed and will make our defenders learn from their mistakes.

Anyone know when and why our pitch has been made narrower? It was clearly noticeable today in front of the main stand.

Ok. Maybe I just never noticed it before.

The initial reaction in the thread was very much useless, shit, annoyed, wasted opportunity, two points dropped etc. Yeah we should have won with the chances we created but we played well considering how shit we’ve been at home since before Christmas.

Don’t get so chippy.

That’s the Vardy who was probably our best player in the first half, then made the chance for Barnes that should have won the game

Righto

Yep, same one that missed a one on one and should have put us ahead. Not sure what he did that made him out best player in the first half? Evans deserves that.

Obviously, Vardy is the better striker when on form. But it's been quite obvious that he's suffering from a lack of form/fitness/something since Christmas. Nacho has offered us something different and looks to hold up the ball rather than the constant ball behind that Vardy looks for.

Vardy ball to Barnes was inch perfect.

We probably should’ve been behind in the first half, Chelsea dominating when they switched play. Did anyone notice that at the start of the 2nd half, Lampard sent them out early and they were ready to restart? We came back out in 1s and 2s and looked disorganised and subsequently conceded. They just looked more at it. That said we were much improved in the 2nd half. Probably should’ve won it in the end but overall, a draw was a fair result.
