Leicester City 2 Middlesbrough 0

Vardy and RDL with the goals, Nugent had a penalty saved.

8 points clear of 2nd, 9 points clear of 3rd. Club record-equalling 7th consecutive wins

Beat me by 40 seconds... and I got the wrong category. Oops

Great win. Things are looking very, very good right now!

Wow, bloody wow! Somebody pinch me! I look forward to the post match reactions. I love it!!!!! Have a great evening everyone. :icon_lol:

I still can't quite let myself believe it.... been hurt before! But things are definitely looking good for us right now.

RL talking about what game it will be that clinches our promotion makes me nervous still though. The squad needs to keep their feet on the ground, but hopefully Nige can do that and the experienced players we've brought in like GTF and Phillips will help with that.

I really want to believe...this is simply brilliant.

We are going up, say we are going up!!!

RL are going completely overboard. It was the same on the moan-in on Monday. A couple of dodgy games and it will be all in the mix again, then they would look very silly.

Club record-equalling 7th consecutive wins

For those of you without your copies of OF&F handy, the other 4 occasions were

From 15.02.1908 (Division One)
From 24.01.1925 (Division Two)
From 26.12.1962 (Division One)
From 28.02.1993 (Divison One - second tier)

I'm going to be a pedant and say, no it's not. Our club record for consecutive wins is 10 in 1962/63.

I think Jas is jumping on the same bandwagon as he's trying to work out which hotel to book on 3rd May against Doncaster so he can celebrate close to the action.

I'm with you Glyn not being pessimistic just cautious
