9 points off the playoffs.

I think I might run away now before all the doom and gloom starts.

I don't think this is over yet.

I'm just happy that we have improved immensely from the pile of shite we were at the beginning of the season. Anything else now is a bonus. (Of course I'd love the play offs, I'm an optimist ;))

Well, I think that is it. Still , we could still be fighting relegation so I'm reasonably pleased with that - gives us something to build on for next year!

Play-off dreams shattered essentially, something to build on for next year though

There goes our 73 game unbeaten home record.

I really thought we were going to storm into the play-offs but the recent run of form has completely blown those thoughts away. Is the loan market our downfall? Do the players really want it enough?

That was a truly dreadful performance

Woeful in every way

A stupid team selection and we got exactly what we deserved

Season over

Conspiracy theory - Sven doesn't want us to go up because then he will have to stay or look stupid. Hmmmm. Actually, Delia may have offered him sexual favours if he let Norwich win.

All this is obviously assuming Sven is such a good manager that he can pickaside that will lose narrowly.

Blue Army!

I'm afraid Bocadillo is right in his point in the match thread...Sven meddled with a successful and settled side.

He's did a fantastic job to get us flying up the league but he got too clever and made some wrong calls.

People are not going to want to hear this, but I don't expect him to be around for next season. He's done enough to remind people that he's good and he will be back in the Premier League.

If we end up finishing 13th, they won't be that impressed.

Sorry, but this is all just bollocks.

People need to stop doubting Sven's commitment I think. It's not fair to him when he's shown no signs of wanting out or anything, and has spoken a lot about the future (and with Uchechi, even looked at players for the future)

oh, and Sven hasn't become a worse manager or anything in the last 4 games. People are blaming changes he's made, but let's not forget that the 3 losses have been against 3 of the top 4 teams in this league... Perspective, please!

Yeah, I suspect Sven will be here next season.

Still, he has tinkered with a settled side, and results have gone south. Shame.

I suspect this season is over at this point.

I don't think so.

He took over when we were bottom of the heap and had a dynamic impact. That is what will appeal to Premier League strugglers not our precise finishing position.

Tell me this is all b-llocks at the end of August when we see who is manager of LCFC. Please don't tell me about players and managers talking about "commitment"....if you want to hear 'b-llocks' then you look no further.

I'd like to see Sven here next season and for an automatic promotion, but I'm hanging fire until the Summer to see what happens...

It's not the losses - it's the manner of the losses that is disappointing. Only at QPR did the players seem that they wanted to be involved in a game. We've been found out and there seems to be no alternative plan.

The other results tonight went in our favour - but only for a few minutes out of 90 did we look likely to take advantage of it.

Totally demoralising. Norwich far too organised for us.

Back four were car crash bar Naughton's efforts.

We were never up for it. Only three players gave it some; Wellens, Naughton and Abe.

Why did we **** about with the shape? We went from a brilliantly attacking force to all too predictable.

Maybe Norwich were too good for us.

Fair play to the lads for getting us even close to the play offs. For me this season was buried during Sousa's reign...worst manager ever? Even Taylor had a period of success with someone else's team. Sousa had a successful outfit and fashioned it effortlessly into shite. Just imagine how bad it would have been if he had been given Taylor sized sums of money to spend.

Our fans are a disgrace - if I here another person blame Ricardo for tonight I will kick them in the face. I'm not sure what he actually did wrong. Our back four were horrendous, Bamba for their third goal was abysmal - but his name fits nicely into a song so he's a "legend". Waghorn is also a "ledge" because coming on and committing 753 fouls is just what we needed.

Wellens and Naughton are fine players. Abe is a real trier. Unfortunately, I've always had my doubts about how much some of the others like Yak really want it.....and then there is the Oakley situation. I think Oakley has been a more than decent player, but sadly he's gone over now and it's difficult to understand why Sven has kept playing him.
