We were all over them during the last 30 minutes. albrighton and slimani ran all over the pitch - always said Albrighton makes a great sub. However over the 90 minutes our best two players were our CBs. For me Huth just takes MOTM.

Albrighton motm and won it for us. He looked immense.

No one played particularly poorly. The players seemed tired in the first half but managed to work tirelessly to win it after 60 minutes.

First half wasn't as bad as many made it out to be, Sunderland just made it very difficult.

Vardy now 5 in 5, Slimani has bagged a goal and it shows that our subs can do a job.

Great determination from all the lads - Simpson was brilliant.

I would've taken a draw before the match so a win is huge!

Marc Albrighton - take a bow!

Pretty much safe now so mix it up Sunday to rest the players for Athletico and see what happens!

Mad to think that before the Seville game we were thinking hope we don't get embarrassed and push us more towards relegation and now just a few weeks later, pretty much safe and thinking we actually have a chance of getting to the CL semi finals!?!

Funny old game hey.

Only started watching at half time - looked poor and not much happening but subs were spot on and changed the game.

Looked like Sunderland were sitting deep and either happy to take a point or try and nick it on the break.

So Shakey says alright then, throws on big Slim and a crosser of the ball to negate that and it worked a treat.

Incredible sub performance from Albrighton to change the game but Slimani made a big difference too, beyond just his goal.

5 wins in 5 for Shakey. Only 4 had won their first 4, how many won their first 5?

We're in the top half of the table.

Vardy's goal was class. Much kudos to Albrighton, for gaining possession and one helluva ball. Vardy's finish was top drawer; one touch to control and thump - the finish of a confident striker.

From not being able to buy a win to winning six games in a row. It's typical Leicester. Never a half measure. Odds on us winning every game until the end of the season?

Excellent substitutions that, essentially, won us the game. The central midfield looked tired and careless in the first half although, like Thai, I really don't think it was anything like as bad as a lot of folks on here were suggesting. An outstanding save was the tiny margin between us going in 1-0 up or, as it transpired, 0-0.

Albrighton was exceptional when he came on. Very direct and always looking to play Slimani in. Slimani took his goal very well. Ndidi and DD were disappointing throughout but perhaps a symptom of the high pressing, fast paced game we've gone back to of late.

Danny Simpson was the man of the match for me (yet again this season) but the whole defensive unit looked solid enough. I really don't see how Morgan can get his place back at the moment as Benalouane looks better and better every time I watch him.

I think there are one or two of the big boys we have to play yet.

Couple of stats

Shakey is the 3rd manager to win his first 5 PL games as manager, after Ancelotti in 2009 and Pep this season.

Also, were only the second club in Prem history to follow up a run of 5 PL losses with 5 PL wins (after Spurs in 2004)

Equalled our record number of PL wins in a row from last season too?

Second clean sheet for Benny and Huth. Nice.

.

Not for me. Keep the momentum with most of the same players. Maybe rest one or two.

I thought Benalouane was excellent.
This for me. From my view in the family stand he had his head to everything and his clearances were superb.
