Reading some of the comments, think I must have been at a different game!
Change 8 players and some expect cohesive football from the first whistle.

Good performance considering the changes.

Unlike many I don't think Slimani had a bad game at all.

In fact playing him is the only way you can use 2 attacking players in the middle, the other just can't really be Vardy.

Amartey constantly being frozen out, despite our pathetic performances is actually a real sense of frustration for me, he deserves a chance, even in a midfield 3.

Back to the usual lineup for league games as the old guard fully return.

Mahrez came on and reminded them what football was all about, thank the Lord

Leeds were truly shit, but their fans were different gravy

I won't thank the Lord for Mahrez; I would thank Steve Walsh Sr.

Generally a good post. It is nice to see Homer has recovered after seeming to lose form in September However, I am baffled by "a different gravy". What does this mean?

We were slightly the better side in the first half and by far the more creative side in the second. However, we wasted a number of good chances. The Mahrez goal was an absolute gem.

I hesitate to mention people's appearance. In September I offended on the subject of baseball caps worn backwards that a hat should not need to come with a set of instructions. Looking at Stone Cold Mike Appleton and Mike Stowell I had the urge to shout Philishave at them.

I agree with those who praised Amartey He did very well considering I believe full back is not his natural position.

With my liking for the inconsequential I was fascinated by Iheanacho coming out for the second half about two minutes after everybody else. Ulloa and Ndidi on the bench thought this was hilarious and there was clearly something behind it.

.

I'll admit. That's the first game I've been to in over 10 years. First half I wondered why I had bothered. The best thing that happened was Leeds scoring a goal which made us realise we needed to impose ourselves on them. I thought Amartey, Dragovic, Chilwell and Iborra were good. I'm not getting carried away though, especially against Leeds reserves.

Was nice to see Shinji and Silva at the end (in their ridiculously expensive cars).

Appleton was interesting on this when asked by Stringer after the match re:Amartey’s best position. Appleton was clear in his opinion that he should be a right-back, not a Centre midfielder or centre back.

Not that it will matter too much what he thinks in a few hours.....

Just shows how much his opinion counted!

Amartey hardly ever played except at RB in the cup so we can't tell

Discounting the time before he went to the AFCON and was by far our best player?
