Fantastic result.

Great goals all well taken.

I have no idea how we didn't concede at least 5 though. That was the most shots on goal from a losing away team in the PL for 14 years.

I keep saying it but El Khannouss is the player we need this season. He has a touch of class and today was the main difference between the sides when it mattered.

We also need to stop going on about Mavididi. He came on and did a trick or two but he was knackered after about 10 minutes. He's not fit at all.

The main difference from Saturday was the attitude. We scrapped and battled for the ball and I thought Ndidi and Soumare really grew into the game in a combative sense.

RvN did well. He made a difference in terms of the performance and the changes he made. He's got a hell of a job to do but he couldn't have done any more in two days.

Yep agree about Wilf and Soumare. We said after the game that they were much better in the second half.

I ****ing loved that. We could have had a couple more, and they should have had six or seven. But no use have three hundred shots if you can’t ****ng finish. **** off. Billy ****ing bonkers, it was - but a whole world away from the horrific turgid dogshit we’ve had to suffer for the past few weeks.

Multiple mistakes and losing the ball all over the place, but we looked incredibly dangerous on the break - I knew if we had a go at them they’d totally shit the bed and they didn’t let me down

El Khannous was excellent, particularly so when we switched him into the middle at half time. That’s his position now. Don’t move him. Kristiansen was similarly superb, especially in the first half when he was marking two men all on his own. Vardy’s movement was outstanding, and then Daka was a revelation when he came on - what a ****ing goal. Absolute limbs agogo you beautiful bastard. Mads was superb. Big shout out too for Coady, who wasn’t great himself but organised and motivated a struggling back line from start to finish. A proper leader.

But MotM for me was Ndidi who was ****ing everywhere - play him in his right position and that’s what he can do. Sensational stuff.

On the downside, Justin was ****ing hopeless. An absolute bumbling mess of a player. We desperately need a right back as our number one priority in January. Their hopeless twat of a manager ****ed up big time by switching Wan Bissaka over to the opposite side, cos him and Summerville together would have ripped him apart. What a twat.

And Faes - ****ing hell, what was he doing. Complete and utter wanker. Don’t ****ing play him again.

Sooo much to improve upon, but not ****ing bad after just two days managing them. Pity we didn’t have him in from the start of the season instead of that complete and utter ****flap.

Gonna be a massive struggle, but the season just got interesting.

Just listened to Ruud's post match interview and he comes across as a really smart bloke. OK, we were lucky tonight but to be fair, three days isn't much time to work with and what he has injected into the team in that short time frame is brilliant. Hats off. Well done on your first win Ruud. Here's to many more.

I second that, @homer. Kristiansen was brilliant tonight. There was a situation near the end (after Füllkrug scored) where he got his teammates out of trouble with a really good interception. I was amazed to see how well he took care of Bowen, especially in the first half.

Also, of all the things I thought may happen tonight I did not think I'd see Daka score. A surreal and quite amusing moment.

Yeah I’d go with this.

It’s a massive 3 points and our finishing was great. Today reminded me of the Bournemouth match a bit…some good passages of play, decent finishing when it mattered, but had to rely on some pretty shite finishing from the opposition as well as some decent saves from Hermansen…and the opposition left scratching their heads as to how they didn’t win the match. But like that game, it’s the points that matter.

Defensively we were all over the shop, but I wasn’t expecting any improvement in this within a couple of days, and to be honest I’m not really expecting any improvement for the rest of the season unless we sign some new defenders.

El Khannous put in one of the best individual performances we’ve seen this season - he’s adapting to the English game a lot quicker than I expected. Ndidi and Soumare were superb.

And Patson Daka…what a finish.

There’s a player there, I’m sure of it.

He’s got a mean streak, a natural left foot and has a physicality to him.

Hes very raw, but he’s alright in my book.

I was looking after my mate's dog today. 9 year old German Shepherd.

For the breed that's about 130 years old I reckon.

It was crashed out on the floor when Daka broke through. It woke up when I started yelling at the telly :

" LEFT FOOT, LEFT FOOT, LEFT FOOT YOU **** !! DON'T YOU ****ING COME INSIDE...YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!! "

The dog joined in, barking like a mad thing at the screen. I snapped at it to shut up.

The ****ing thing stared at me & I swear I could see what he was thinking.

" The **** are you on about you ****? You're the one who started barking. I just joined in because I'm a ****ing good dog you wanker "

Then it sniffed at me, ****ed off behind the settee & went to sleep.

Football innit?

I like that a lot. No bullshit, or trying to be too clever, but sounded like a complete understanding of where we’re at. Celebrated what went well, reflected on what needs work and showed a sense of humour that made him relatable.

Obviously it’s only a couple of days and one game in, but he’s off to probably as good a start as you could hope for.
