And the key buffoon will most likely still be here in the close season. We were lucky last year to land the manager we did, but next season if we're in the championship we'll have a weaker squad and weaker coaching staff. Miss out on immediate promotion and PSR will have us stuffed
Again, there is too much prediction here. We have no idea who will be the manager or, if it is still RvN, how he might perform in The Championship. There area still many posters (I'm not one of them) who believe that as good as Enzo was for us last year, he'd have been a disaster in the PL. The reverse therefore can be true. It's also suggesting that PSR punishments are a given and that's not true either. Thirdly, the buffoon in charge of choosing the players we brought in is absolutely not still here. Cooper would have had a huge say if not all the day in who we recruited. The ****s in charge of contracts will still be here, but that's a different story.

Even if Leicester sold one or two of the better players the players left would be more than capable of winning promotion, I'm not convinced that RVN is the man for the job.
Individual player mistakes have cost Leicester big this season.

Your convenient blaming of Cooper for everything that is wrong this season is only partially justifiable.

Under his watch we signed Fatawu for a lot of money - one of your key absentees. We also signed El Khannouss, Ayew and Buonanotte (on loan) who have all contributed a lot to our season.

Our shitty signings amount to who exactly? Skipp and Okoli look to be money badly spent. Edouard is a horrible loan deal. Golding was a PSR necessity. That leaves De Cordova Reid, and for free I'd say the jury is out on whether that's a good or bad deal. If he was given enough pitch time, I suspect he'd be an important player for us.

If you're going to add 9 players in a window, especially with the expectation of a points deduction looming, you can't expect a high success rate. We were fishing around in a shitty pool.

On the injuries front, I'd suggest that we've been no better or worse affected than most other sides.
He can't be credited with Fatawu, that discovery and acquisition had nothing to do with him. I'd suggest that Ayew has been either ****ing awful or generally average for the most part as well and not a great use of money. But it's not just about the signings we did make, but those we didn't. We didn't address the key positions we needed to and because we systematically dismantled the system we'd carefully built under Maresca, the players we did have no longer suited whatever 'plan' Cooper had.

None of this has anything to do with the point I was responding to however, which was about us getting weaker with every relegation. It didn't need to be that way this time and it doesn't need to be like that in the future should we be relegated again.

Yeah, that’s like blaming Dean Smith for the previous relegation. We were already ****ed under Rodgers.

Not sure about this one, he’s scored and created some vital goals. I like him.

Absolute incoherence of overall strategy seems to be the prevailing culture throughout the club unfortunately. It’s a very odd way to run a high-profile business.

Would you agree that every time we go down we get proportionately weaker compared to mid-range PL sides?

Even if relegation is followed by immediate promotion, it is hugely damaging.
Yes, obviously but the gulf between the PL, the relegated sides the prior season and the EFL is massive.

Therefore it takes many seasons of one club yo-yoing to be depreciated to the level of an EFL club

I can see what Ayew has provided. It's been more than I thought he would to be honest and fair. I just think he's also been remarkably poor in a lot of games as well. I'll take him out of the Praet category and put him in the 'meh' category.
