A607 usually
when you come into Melton (ooh err) turn right at the traffic lights next to the BP garage.

Continue up Dalby Road past the swimming baths on the left for approx 1/4 of a mile and take the first left on to Ankle Hill

Continue down Ankle Hill following the bend round to the left until you reach the junction of Burton Road.

Turn left onto Burton road, over the bridge by the train station, and turn right opposite the church, right next to The Noels pub onto Mill Street.

Follow mill street for approx 1/4 of a mile until you reach the junction. you'll now recognise this now as it's the main turning you take out of Melton towards Grantham (the norman Way traffic lights). Normally you'd turn left here, but you'll turn right as you're coming from the opposite direction.

If Melton is empty this way is longer, but if Melton is choc-a-bloc, this could save you a good 10-20 minutes. Depends if everybody is doing the same thing.

Melton is usually choc-a-bloc

Sounds interesting. What village are we on about.

Last time I played there it was the works side, Hollwell or something like that. That's probably going back further than when you played Melts
Holwell is on the other side of the village. They have a good set up their now.

I played for Amateurs about 20 years ago.

There's only one player worthy of watching in that line up, IMO.
