Around four inches of snow fell in the East Midlands early yesterday, but Leicester – with a proud record of games beating the weather at the Walkers Stadium – are confident Sunday's game will take place, with a slight thaw predicted and the pitch protected by undersoil heating.
City boss Sven Goran Eriksson does have a few injury headaches, with Portuguese defender Miguel Vitor (hamstring) definitely missing.

Loan striker Roman Bednar (foot) is a doubt, but City are hopeful defender Curtis Davies (groin) and forward Paul Gallagher (hamstring) will be fit.

City's on-loan ex-England keeper Chris Kirkland has been in training this week after shrugging off a groin niggle picked up late on in the controversial snow-hit 3-0 loss at Ipswich Town last weekend.

With Leeds flying high at the moment it will provide a real test to see where City have progressed to under Sven Goran Eriksson.

Steven starts the pre match thread

Not even worth going, now :icon_sad:

For **** sake Steven!

Doesn't mention Vitor, who Sven said after the Ipswich game had picked up an injury

Tried to have a serious pre-match exchange of rational opinions with a Leeds supporting lad I know; on form, chances and key players. All I got was 'Becchio is gonna destroy you'. Tit.

Articulate for a Leeds fan. :icon_bigg

Leeds to win 6-0 and go through to the next round of the Worthington cup, with our caretaker manager Garry parker watching on from the dugout.

Maier
Andersson
Dürnberger
Schwarzenbeck
Beckenbauer
Roth
Torstensson
Zobel
Müller
Hoeneß
Kapellmann

Hobbs for Vitor, possibly Bedner for Dyer, Abe's last game for a while, let him take a free kick Gally Hard fought 2-1 win Bednar Abe

I assume one of the European Cup finals. So either 74, 75 or 76.

Laughable.

Typical that a Leeds fan is so thick - everyone knows it's going to be Gradel who destroys us.

I am sure Wellens will want to do something about that.
