Hey I lived in LS6 and LS4 as a student, back in the 90's wasn't too bad. I remember having a pissed kip for an hour in hyde park bushes at 2am and I didn't get mugged, so don't listen to what people say about it. I passed out on the way home, was quite funny at the time.

I remember getting stopped on the way in one day cause I was wearing a city shirt. I got asked if I had a ticket for the play off final and if i did, got offered a free lift. Sadly I had to watch it on the telly. Amazing how many city fans are about.

The last train back is at 21:27, from Manchester Road

So you could see most of the match, but would have to leave 15 minutes or so before the end, walking distance from the ground is about 0.8 miles.

Why don't you get the 21.57pm from Burnley Central ??

Arrive Preston 22.51pm - Depart Preston 23.42pm
Arrive Manchester Airport 00.45am - Depart Manchester Airport 01.22am
Arrive Leeds 02.48am :icon_cool

This particular station is just over 1 mile from the ground, and you will have about 20 minutes after the game has finished to get there.

There's a bus from Burnley to Manchester at 21:48, takes about an hour. You should then be able to get the 23:15 train to Leeds, arriving at 00:21
