I think the only other time we've had a player in the England World Cup squad was Gordon Banks in 1966. I can't find any before or since then.
England always win the world cup when there's a Leicester player in the squad...

I thought Shilts was the 3rd goalkeeper for 1970.
He was in the provisional squad but not in the final 22. The goalkeepers were Banks, Bonetti and Stepney.
