I hope we do. I don’t think he’s had a proper chance.
Apart from an FA Cup cameo against Everton he showed absolutely zero reason to give him more of an opportunity than he had.

I thought he looked shit hot in his second half appearance for the Community Shield at Wembley. Assumed he'd be the left-sided lightning fast winger/striker role ... but nobody else did.

I don’t remember thinking he looked particularly good. But I was talking more about competitive football, not a friendly.

Are you seriously comparing a guy who scored a brace against Argentina at a World Cup.....to Elvis Hammond? Musa is far from being a great player, but he's definitely not Elvis Hammond bad.
No I wasn’t comparing the two. My point was that speed doesn’t necessarily equal a good player.

I don't think we'll get close to what we paid unless he has an amazing world cup so we might as well give him a chance. His record elsewhere and at international level suggests there is a decent player in there somewhere.

What record is this then? His goals in the quality league that is the Nigerian Premier League? Or the arguably as bad Russian League (one goal per three games)?

If you take his record from two half decent divisions - the Eredivisie and the Premier League - it reads as 58 appearances and 10 goals.

Let’s not forget the international record you mentioned - 71 games and 13 goals.

Lethal.

FFS stop it, and stop it now

If Musa ends up anywhere feckin' near the first team this coming season then we're absolute relegation fodder, and everyone knows it
