Take on Newcastle Eagles tonight (Weds 20th March) at John Sanford Sports Centre (Braunstone Gate). Tip Off 7.30.

Absolutely massive game. Riders currently top of the league, Newcastle 2nd. Points gap currently 6 (2 for a win) with Riders leading the 3 game series between the sides 1-0. Head to head counts if teams finish level at the end of the season. 8 games left in the season (with the final game being against Newcastle as well!).

Riders have never won the league championship before whereas Newcastle are reigning champions and usually take all honours.

Riders carrying injuries to key players so will make it extra tough.

Anyone interested or not been before, then I recommend this as a really exciting game to start with. You will be able to cut the atmosphere with a knife. Get there early. Could easily sell out.

Yup, just checked the net a few mins ago. Fantastic, well on the way to the title! Hopefully the the club can find a new home, especially on the back of this season as The john Sandford Sports Centre will be no longer in a year or two

Went to a few games in the 80's including an away match against the Worthing Bears* ( as they were called then)

*Brighton Bears before that and since. We lived about a mile from where Worthing played their games in those days.
