Nice pass from Faes too but great touch and finish from Barnes.

Whilst the back 4 are shaky, we are playing already playing better without the tw@t

So unlucky from Barnes again - deflected shot just hits Martinez legs....

We need a break or two!

Encouraging half. The fans seem up for it, but it's a two way relationship and they ultimately need something from the players to turn it up a gear. We still look a bit nervous particularly when defending but we've just looked like we've got more intent to attack tonight. Not hard to not waste 40 of the 45 passing it across the back four is it Brendan?

Stunning goal from Barnes.

Villa definitely aren’t that good at the back but then our final ball has been sloppy and that miss from Souttar was something else.

The thing is, our defence can concede a goal from nowhere, they switch off so often and they’re not organised enough to do the backs to the wall stuff.

We can capitalise on the fact that Villa seem to think that they’re ****ing brilliant but we’ll need to be clinical and pray to the ****ing baby jebus that the ball stays out of our net.

I'd leave things for now but look to bring Tete on for Mendy or Wilf, move Maddison in to the middle to get more control and someone who can use the ball a bit deeper.

And Nacho/Daka on for Vardy. He has looked more up for it tonight but really not been involved at all and looks a yard or two short of pace - Watkins is pressing our 2 CBs on his own but Vardy hasn't got it in him to do it anymore.

Daka should be able to offer more pressure on their CBs and a good option for a ball over the top which looks on tonight.

How's the attitude and aggression?
